The 2025 indoor season proved to be a big step forward for the Roland-Story boys’ track and field team. Competing at both the Dickinson Relays on March 10 and the IATC Indoor State Meet on March 13, our athletes delivered breakout performances and rewrote large portions of the program’s all-time indoor Top Ten list.

The Norsemen capped off the indoor campaign with a strong 9th-place finish at the IATC Indoor State Meet, going head-to-head with some of the top programs in the state and proving that Roland-Story is a team to watch this spring.

These early-season meets serve as a critical checkpoint for our coaching staff — a way to gauge progress, identify strengths, and set the tone for the outdoor season. This year’s results were nothing short of inspiring.

💬 Coach's Take

"As a coaching staff, we use these indoor Top 10 lists to evaluate where our guys are and where we’re headed. Seeing so many names etched into school history this early in the season tells us we have a special group. The work ethic, competitiveness, and team-first mindset are exactly what we want representing Roland-Story Track & Field," said the coaching staff.

With record-setting speed, strength, and depth already on display, the Roland-Story boys are primed for a big outdoor season. The bar has been raised — and this team looks ready to clear it.
