CHAMPIONSHIP WEEK #1 - Important Notes for the week

Here are some important notes for this week... Please make sure and read through them all:
1. First of all, if you were at prom this weekend I hope you got plenty of sleep today and go to bed early tonight. Make sure and drink several things of water yet tonight and all day tomorrow. You are going to feel tired tomorrow but it is important that by Tuesday you are feeling great.
2. This brings me to my next point, make sure these last few weeks you really take care of yourself. Good sleep, lots of water everyday, NO pop or junk food, and good stretching as well as icing (cold tub). This is where we really start to see the best in our R-S track kids because we take all of these things seriously.
3. Varsity guys we have two meets this week.... HOI Meet on Tuesday in Baxter and a COED meet at North Polk on Thursday. A lot more varsity guys will be running on Thursday because we are running so hard on Tuesday. If you are not running on Tuesday but you are usually a varsity guy you will most likely be running on Thursday. Make sure you are ready.
4. JV Guys - Last week stunk to lose both of our meets. Coach B has put together a JV "SCRIMMAGE" Meet in which all of you would get to run a few times against each other on Wednesday during practice time in a meet like setting. I would like to meet with you all Monday after school and get names out for who is on whose team. We will turn in uniforms on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for these JV guys.
5. Last two things that we need to all be aware of is: 1.) We will all need to vote for our class MVPs sometime next week. I will send you all a link to vote at. 2.) We will have our end of the season ice cream social and awards sometime after school the week of May 22nd.
