Discipline is the shortcut. Do the Work!


Just wanted to send out a couple quick reminders as we go through uncharted time as a team and school district.

When we are back on April 13th all of you need to be ready to go so keep up with your workouts. I have specific reminders for groups below.

Keep in mind... DISCIPLINE (doing what you are supposed to do as well as you can do it) is the shortcut. Do the work! (Brian Kight)

Premier Athlete has put together this great resource for us to use as we are out of the building. Access the workouts via the Premier website with the log in information below.

Sprinters - Please be using the Google Sheet for sprinters found here. Sprint Training Week 1 Workouts.

- It looks like only 5 or 6 of you have found this and started using it. Again, I am not requiring this but if you are not doing any work you are not only hurting yourself but you are hurting your teammates!

Throwers - Start using the Premier Athlete school programming as your training (found above). If you can get to the track please do drill work in the ring to keep body remembering the skills.

Distance - Keep doing the workouts for the week in the last blog post. Coach Baker has put together a Strava running club so we can all keep up with each other. Please go to Strava and use your email to join. Once you have joined click "Find a Club" and in that box just type in R-S Run Club and join that group. This will be a great way of holding each other accountable to keep working.
